Rusty Yates, religious fanatic/accessory to five counts of murder, was married to his next victim this week on the eve of his ex-wife’s retrial.
I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say “You two [censored] mother[censored] deserve each other.” Mazel tov!

Surely Rusty Yates can be looked at as an example of how not to be a good husband- but accessory to murder? Apparently he was at work when this happened….

Andrea Yates should be locked up in a mental hospital and never set free. She is clearly a danger to society. But Rusty Yates should also be in prison. His wife was extremely mentally ill, yet he impregnated her again and again and again. Andrea had suffered from post-partum psychosis and had tried to commit suicide twice. Her psychiatrist had warned Rusty that Andrea should not become pregnant again, yet she did.
Not only that, Andrea homeschooled their children, thus being trapped with them in the house all day long. What kind of father leaves his children at home alone with a psychotic woman? His actions contributed to Andrea’s psychotic breakdown and killing spree and his negligence helped end the lives of 5 innocent kids. I’m sure that legally he couldn’t be charged as an accessory. But to me, morally speaking, he is guilty.

Rusty Yates should absolutely be charged as an accessory to murder. Not only did he completely ignore and brush off any warning signs of post-partum psychosis that Andrea had, he apparently did not care for his children enough to even worry about them being alone with someone so unstable. What a caring Dad! The number of kids equals the bigger chariot to heaven eh Rusty?
If Rusty had molested, beaten, or killed his children everyone would be asking, “Where was the mother? DEAR GOD! Where was their mother? Didn’t she care?! What a horrible mother not to love her babies!” Rusty, on the other hand, after ignoring blatant signs of depression and mental instability in his wife is being treated like some sort of heroic father trying to “make it” after the brutal murder of his children. I can only hope his new wife is to old to breed. If not I propose a fund to supply him with condoms for the rest of his pathetic life.
