A few photos I took on the walk home from my visa appointment on Thursday…

Does anyone know what these pink flowers are?

  1. Aren’t they peonies?

  2. That’s what I thought too, but others have said they’re a form of poppy or ranunculus. I’m not very good at identifying plants and flowers. I think perhaps these are a mixed bunch, so there are probably peonies and some other types of flowers in there. I guess I will have to go back and ask the florist, but they’ll just tell me some weird French name. ;)

  3. Hmmm, I always thought ranunculus were rather small, but you might be right, there

  4. The orange ones appear to be ranunculuses and some of the pink ones are similar to the orange ones although a few of the pinks ones appear to be peonies… Did you get a chance to ask the florist what kinds of flowers these are?

  5. not yet, but as soon as i do i’ll let you know! what a mystery…

  6. Ranunculus, for sure! Those, I would bet my life, are nothing but . . . Welcome back, bitch! : ) I miss you.

  7. They are definitely Ranunculus, my favorite flowers of all! See you soon!
