  1. It’s the Saddam effect. America is once again in the business of hanging and it’s showing up in fashion - of course.

  2. I’m not sure how something so disturbing is suddenly fascinating people in charge of “fashion”, but it’s really quite scary. I read your other post and the only thing I saw in that magazine cover was a glorified battered woman. Maybe I’m biased because I work with a battered women’s shelter, but there’s nothing sexy about an injured/dead person, woman or man.

    i have gathered that you are an americaine in paris studying at the sorbonne… i am also an americaine, but I am living in La Rochelle (Near Bordeaux). Next year I hope to be studying at the Sorbonne, though I am still trying to figure out all the nuances of the inscription procedure. What are you studying there? and how do you find your program?
