		<description>i really like your blog - linked to mine, i live in london as well but write in portuguese (my mother tongue).
had never heard of this author (hasnt been translated into my language and i guess this is how we used to get in touch with north hemisphere's literature before the internet, by translations), going to write it down and maybe see if it is translatable (i ma doing my ma in literary translation).

		<description>This "smash and grab" activity seems pretty common in London.

A couple years ago I was in Eltham to visit the Palace there and walked past a car, in a residential area, which had been the apparent victim of a 'smash and grab'. It must have just happened because the broken glass was still on the road. In broad daylight. It seemed to be a nice area too.</description>
