   I’m reading Henry James’ The Ambassadors, which is all about a man falling in love with Paris. Or falling in love with living after 55 years of not living. In any case, as I read I think of your photos, which are more real to me than my own time spent in Paris so many years ago. Thank you for sharing. I’m glad that you went. And welcome home.

   William: Yes, but I don’t think it has anything to do with the gardens. There’s a character in The Virgin Suicides named Lux. I think it’s a cool name.

   Gasp! These photos are sooo beautiful!

   We don’t really get this color, down south in Montpellier. The leaves just sort of give up in October and start to fall down or sort of blow away… I miss the colors of Michigan.

   I looked at your flickr pictures too and they are lovely.
