I can confirm. I was in London yesterday saturday and it was nearly the night at five (I was in the crowd in Oxford street)and at half past six, it looked like midnight in your Bloomsbury (Gower Street, coming back to Saint-Pancras).

Joy, thanks for the compliments! I don’t have a magic camera, just a Panasonic. I have Photoshop, which does help, but it can’t make a bad photo look good. I am an amateur photographer, but through my limited experience, I’ve discovered it’s really all about light. Light light light! I also seem to get good pictures when I don’t plan on taking pictures. I just stumble upon a scene that looks nice. That’s why I always try to take my camera with me.
