You’re Welcome, Hillary

I’ve never donated to a political campaign before. I’ve always been hesitant to do it because I feel the amount of money spent on political campaigns in America is obscene. But it’s clear that money is important in this election and that Obama’s financial advantage is helping him tremendously. I only gave $20, which isn’t much, but these little donations add up and the next few weeks are absolutely crucial.

I want Hillary to win this nomination because I think she would make a great president. Also, I felt compelled to donate to Hillary’s campaign for two other reasons:

1) The vile misogyny directed at Hillary Clinton by the news media, the internets, the political establishment (including so-called “liberals”) and members of the public has made me very sad and very very angry.

2) The free ride Barack Obama has been given by the press is, quite frankly, sickening. It is not up to the media to select the Democrat’s nominee — it’s up to the voters and the delegates. The slanted coverage I’ve seen throughout this campaign so far is a disgrace to journalism.

  1. “The free ride Barack Obama has been given by the press is, quite frankly, sickening.” A-FRICKIN-MEN!

The “visionary” Obama (with no actual experience of ANYTHING) has pretty much been anointed savior and messiah over here. Vision = nothing when you have no track record to back you up. And Hillary has been ripped in the press about “pimping out Chelsea”. Seriously? At least she hasn’t pimped out HERSELF to the media’s Christ in Living Form Oprah Winfrey and the completely useless Kennedy clan including Caroline (why do we care what you think? Who ARE you?) and Ted “I left my last date at the bottom of Lake Chappaquiddick” Kennedy. It’s all SICKENING and completely disheartening.

  2. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I’m on your bandwagon! (and splice girl’s bandwagon as well! LOL!)

  3. Sorry but I want to like Hillary and cannot. I feel her husband very transparently wants to be president again. He harps on the 90s all the time. Hey, I loved them too, but they are gone. He will be in the White House pulling the strings and I am over it.

  4. This issue of the delegates is a tricky one. The superdelegates have a major role this election. Are they forced to vote the will of their constituents or are they free to vote for whoever (whomever?) they want? The difference will make or break Hillary Clinton. How does the party decide this? Does the party decide at all? This is going to be an interesting convention - that is, if Hillary manages to win Texas and Ohio. If she doesn’t…
