My second MacBook in a week. I hope this one’s a keeper.
I’ve used one of my Paris sunset photos as my wallpaper. This view from Pont Neuf always makes me happy. It calms me down when I’m fretting over not having a right-click on my mouse (arrggghhh!) and searching, fruitlessly, for any sort of delete key. FN + backspace — that’s it? Oh, come on! Is this a British thing or a Mac thing?
It’s really cool, however, to have a built-in webcam and microphone. It makes Skype calls super fun - no headset! On the downside, now that people can see me, I have to brush my hair.

The keyboard is great too, though it takes a few days to get used to.

The Mac’s delete is equivalent to the backspace key on any other system. There is no one key delete - but I promise you’ll get used to it in a few weeks and forget you ever missed it. Same with the mouse thing.
We switched over 5.5 years ago and I can remember a few weeks of frustrating transition where I’d have to close her down after a few hours - not because there was a problem with her but because the transition was taxing for my poor wee noggin.
But after the transition is bliss. No more crashes (well, not many.) No more antivirus (yet.)

Well, I run a 5.5 year old ibook. It’s crashed twice in the 5.5 years I’ve had it. So ‘no crashes’ wouldn’t be precisely true.
