At long last, spring is here! Today I went to St. James’s Park to see the daffodils, which is always a highlight of the year.

I love daffodils.
Daffodils and forsythia always signal for me, the arrival of spring.
Drew says ours haven’t bloomed yet so I am looking forward to enjoying the blossoms when I return to the States in April.

March 23rd, 2009 at 2:17 amMy daffodils are in bloom also, not nearly as many as the ones in St. James’s Park. I will get to see them Friday, can’t wait. We will be staying on Spring Gardens, too.

I didn’t notice any hotels in Spring Gardens? Also, check my latest post about the protests, which are going to coincide with your visit!

I would check the Put People First link from my post above, since that demonstration is likely to be the most orderly. I would avoid the other protests, which will be in the City. Those could turn violent and the police are going to be out in force. I don’t think you’ll want to be near anything like that.
